Our artisanal perfumes are hand-crafted in Mount Shasta, CA in small batches from 100% pure aromatic botanicals in a base of fractionated coconut oil or organic cane alcohol. We source the finest quality, exquisite and often rare botanical absolutes, essential oils, and CO2 extracts. We strive to use sustainably wild-harvested and organically grown/ no spray aromatics for our creations whenever possible. We also incorporate our in-house crafted botanical extracts and infused oils. Absolutely no synthetic or animal ingredients are ever used.
Each bottle of botanical perfume holds a unique, artisanal bouquet of scent. This bouquet is conceived in aromatic wonder and olfactory bliss to transport the wearer to the forests, meadows and gardens that are home to the most magnificent aromatic plants of the world. Wearing a pure botanical perfume is a personal, intimate experience between the wearer and the scent. Moonflower is a deep floral musk. This perfume's foundation is a vegetal amber musk composed of many botanicals including ambrette seed, angelica, tobacco, patchouli, vetiver, jatamansi, labdanum and styrax. Layered upon this earthy musk, is a rich heart of the exquisite florals of neroli, osmanthus, jasmine and tulip tree. Citrus and spice notes fleetingly dance in the head of this perfume.
Moonflower was named after one of the core florals in this composition, Osmanthus or tea olive. In Chinese mythology, an immortal Osmanthus tree is said to grow on the moon. This is one of our perfumes that wears the longest due to the many fixatives and base notes in the foundation. As this perfume melds with the wearer's chemistry, the deep earthy musk dry down lingers for many hours. A perfume to please both neroli lovers and those who love earthy botanicals like vetiver, patchouli and jatamansi.
