Botanical Skin Care
We carefully craft botanical salves and therapeutic oils to heal and nourish the skin. The herbs in our Healing Salves are always harvested with respect and care at their peak seasonal potency. Herbs are cultivated in our gardens or harvested from wild stands of locally abundant plants. Salves are produced from fresh plant material and processed with care by hand in small batches. Each herb is infused slowly with the power of the sun in organic olive or almond oil for one complete lunar cycle and then hand pressed. We then blend these medicinal oils with locally sourced pure filtered beeswax, organic unrefined shea butter and vitamin E oil. These ingredients are chosen for their soothing and emollient properties. Each salve is formulated with a blend of organic essential oils chosen for their unique medicinal virtues. Wise Mountain Botanicals’ salves are for topical application and are an excellent way to directly deliver plant medicine through the skin.
Therapeutic oils are crafted in a base of organic oils infused with fresh herbs cultivated in our gardens. This is then blended with other rich, rejuvenating botanical oils and organic essential oils, creating a concentrated healing and aromatic oil for topical use.

Our Muscle and Joint Relief Salve has anti-inflammatory, strengthening and regenerative properties. It can be used to soothe sore muscles, joints, arthritis, carpel tunnel, sprains and strains. Muscle and Joint Relief Salve also reduces swelling from bumps, bruises and other minor injuries. Apply liberally over affected areas one to three times daily. Do not apply to broken skin or open wounds.
Contains: Fresh St. John’s wort (Hypericum perforatum), arnica (Arnica mollis), yarrow (Achillea millefolium) and dandelion (Taraxacum officinalis) flowers, comfrey leaf (Symphytum officinale), Black cottonwood buds (Populus trichocarpa), organic extra virgin olive oil, pure filtered beeswax, organic unrefined shea butter, vitamin E oil, organic or wildcrafted essential oils of Roman chamomile, frankincense, cardamom, ginger, clove, birch, grapefruit and petit-mandarin.
