Single Herb Tinctures
Herbal tinctures are a liquid solution of herbs and alcohol. The herbs in our Single Herb Tinctures are always harvested with respect and care at their peak seasonal potency and processed in small batches. Tinctures are produced with pharmaceutical grade organic cane spirits according to standard tincturing ratios. They are infused for one complete lunar cycle in glass jars and are then pressed and bottled.

A nervine, bitter and fever reducing herb, Vervain has many virtues. It is a calming balm for frazzled nerves and can be used as a restorative nerve tonic for those with patterns of tension, nervousness, exhaustion and anxiety. Blue vervain can help relax the mind and body, easing tension, anxiety and promoting restful sleep. It is often indicated for the over-thinker, worrywart, list maker, intensely driven person for its calming effects and its ability to quiet the over-active mind. Blue vervain can help calm and ease tension and disperse stagnant energy, specifically in the head and neck. This makes it an excellent choice to relieve tension headaches, and relax tension held in the neck and shoulders manifesting as stiffness.
Traditionally, the herb has been used for its bitter principles and its affinity for easing colds, fever and indigestion. As a digestive bitter, blue vervain can aid digestion and support the nervous system, and is particularly indicated for tension in the stomach and to help mitigate intense food cravings. Blue vervain is also a wonderful women’s reproductive ally. It can help mitigate symptoms of PMS in the luteal phase (post ovulation), minimizing emotional irritability, anger, tension and food cravings while supporting hormonal balance. Blue vervain can also ease the severity of hot flashes and lend support during menopause and perimenopause.
