Single Herb Tinctures
Herbal tinctures are a liquid solution of herbs and alcohol. The herbs in our Single Herb Tinctures are always harvested with respect and care at their peak seasonal potency and processed in small batches. Tinctures are produced with pharmaceutical grade organic cane spirits according to standard tincturing ratios. They are infused for one complete lunar cycle in glass jars and are then pressed and bottled.
Many of these single herb tinctures are indicated in herbal protocols for Lyme infections. See the link below for our current offerings of single herb tinctures that can be used in herbal protocol for Lyme and its co-infections.

Japanese knotweed (Fallopia japonica) is an herb with extensive traditional uses, particularly within Traditional Chinese Medicine. Anti-inflammatory and rich in resveratrol, Japanese knotweed is also a supreme immune modulator. It is anti-bacterial, anti-spirochetal and anti-viral and can break down and inhibit biofilm formation. It is often indicated as a primary herb in protocols for chronic infections like Lyme and Epstein Barr. Japanese knotweed also has potent protective actions on the central nervous system and cardiovasculature. This herb can also greatly reduce rheumatic inflammation and pain associated with Lyme as well as reduce inflammation and restore tissue integrity.
Current scientific research indicates that Japanese knotweed may have neuroprotective properties and enhance the strength and integrity of the blood-brain barrier. It may also protect mitochondria from oxidative stress and damage. Studies indicate that it can support cognitive function by increasing cerebral blood flow and oxygen content of blood in the brain, potentially improving learning and memory.
